this past weekend, some of my best gals and i took a road trip to raleigh to stay with our friend missy.  we had the best time - a gorgeous house (photos to come in another post), great food, wonderful company, and lots of crafting!

a friend's little girl is turning 5 this weekend and i made her a crown for her party.  her mom picked out the yarn, i just did the dirty work.  it is modeled here by a canadian moose, but i'll post pictures of emma sporting her crown next week.

my workspace

we really like a lot of things about the house that we're living in now.  but one of my favorite things about it is that we have enough rooms that i can have a workspace all my own.  little by little i've been adding to my craft room since we moved in about a year ago and, with the exception of a few changes, it's pretty much right where i want it.
